Pride Toronto 2027 fills downtown Toronto through June, and Pride Toronto has confirmed the Pride Parade for Sunday 27 June 2027, with the festival weekend expected around 24 to 27 June (full dates not yet announced). There is no camping at the festival and streets around the Church-Wellesley Village close to traffic, so the practical RV plan is a campground on the city's edge, such as TRCA's Indian Line Campground in Brampton (about 35 km from the Village, 2026 sites from C$54.20 a night plus HST), and the subway in. In our live search for 22 to 30 June 2027, Cruise Canada motorhomes from Toronto start at C$183 a night before kilometre charges.
Which rental brands suit Pride Toronto?
One brand returned vans in our live search for a Toronto pick-up over Pride: Cruise Canada (the Canadian arm of Cruise America), from its depot at 12275 Highway 50, Bolton, about 18 km north of Indian Line Campground. All four of its motorhomes were available for 22 to 30 June 2027: the Ultra Compact 18 ft (sleeps 2), Compact 21 ft (sleeps 4), Standard 25 ft (sleeps 5) and Large 30 ft (sleeps 7). Each has a toilet, shower and fridge.
CanaDream also has a Toronto area depot in Brampton, but it returned no vehicles in our search, so we cannot offer it for Pride right now.
- Which size? For a city event the smaller rigs are easier in campground loops and on Toronto streets. The Ultra Compact suits a couple, and on our dates it cost the same per night as the Large 30 ft, which sleeps 7.
- Power: in Canada only the Large 30 ft has a generator. Cruise America says the Ultra Compact needs external power for its 120 V furnace and air conditioning, so book a hydro (powered) site for a hot June weekend.
- Pick-up and return: Cruise America's FAQ says pick-up is normally 1 PM to 4 PM and return 9 AM to 11 AM, and rental centres are closed on Sundays and holidays. Parade day is a Sunday and Canada Day (Thursday 1 July 2027) is a holiday, so plan your dates around both.
- No airport transfers: the depot is about 24 km from Toronto Pearson and does not offer transfers, so budget for a taxi or rideshare.
Compare these motorhomes for your own dates on our Toronto motorhome and campervan page.
What does an RV for Pride Toronto cost?
Live prices from the Campervan Rental Guide search for a Toronto pick-up on Tuesday 22 June 2027 and return on Wednesday 30 June 2027 (8 nights), searched on 19 October 2026. Prices are Canadian dollars per night, with the total for 8 nights.
- Ultra Compact 18 ft (sleeps 2): C$182.92 a night, C$1,531.13 total
- Large 30 ft (sleeps 7): C$182.92 a night, C$1,531.13 total
- Compact 21 ft (sleeps 4): C$204.40 a night, C$1,702.90 total
- Standard 25 ft (sleeps 5): C$208.74 a night, C$1,737.67 total
What is not in those prices
- Kilometres: Cruise America's FAQ says Canadian rentals are charged for an estimated 160 km per night (1,280 km over 8 nights) at 39 cents per kilometre, collected up front, with unused kilometres refunded and extra ones charged at return. The FAQ does not state the currency. The trip plan below covers about 700 km. A Half Price Mileage Deal (promo code FRDM) is listed for departures through 31 October 2027.
- Campsites: Indian Line Campground listed 2026 nightly rates of C$54.20 (unserviced) to C$74.10 (50 amp hydro, water and sewer), plus HST and a C$15.25 reservation fee. 2027 rates were not published when we checked.
- Kits: a Personal Kit is listed at 75 dollars per person and a Vehicle Provisioning Kit at 125 dollars per vehicle, currency not stated.
- Tank dump: a holding tank not emptied before return can cost up to 100 dollars. Indian Line has a dumping station for campers.
- Transit and parking: TTC and GO fares, plus any parking, are extra. The festival itself is free to attend, and Pride Toronto asks for a voluntary 2 dollar donation at stage entrances.
Where to stay in an RV for Pride Toronto
Pride Toronto is a free street festival in and around the Church-Wellesley Village, with the TD Main Stage at Nathan Phillips Square. There is no camping or RV parking at the festival, so base yourself at a campground on the edge of the city and travel in by transit. Book early: Pride Toronto notes that June is peak season for visits to Toronto.
Indian Line Campground (TRCA), Brampton
- Where: 7625 Finch Avenue West, Brampton, near Highway 427. Toronto and Region Conservation Authority calls it the closest campground to downtown Toronto. It is about 35 km (22 miles) by road from Church and Wellesley.
- Sites: unserviced, 30 or 50 amp hydro with water, and 30 or 50 amp hydro with water and sewer, plus pull-through sites for RVs.
- 2026 nightly rates (plus HST): C$54.20 unserviced, C$61.90 for 30 amp and water, C$68.35 for 50 amp and water or 30 amp full hookup, C$74.10 for 50 amp full hookup. Rates include two people and one vehicle. Extra campers are C$12.25 and the reservation fee is C$15.25.
- Facilities: dumping station, washrooms and showers, coin laundry, salt water swimming pool and playgrounds.
- Season and booking: the 2026 season ran from May to 1 November. Book at trcacamping.ca or on 1-855-811-0111. 2027 dates and rates were not yet published.
Albion Hills Campground (TRCA), Caledon
A quieter conservation area option at 16500 Regional Road 50, Caledon, only about 13 km from the Cruise Canada depot. It has 234 serviced and unserviced sites, some pull-through RV sites and dumping stations, with 2026 rates of C$48.30 (unserviced) and C$55.45 (30 amp and water) plus HST. It is about 65 km (40 miles) from the Village, so expect a longer trip in.
Glen Rouge Campground
Glen Rouge, in Rouge National Urban Park on Toronto's eastern edge, is not an option. Parks Canada's bulletin says the campground remains closed until further notice, and the park now lists the site as the Glen Rouge Day Use Area, with its lot locked at 9 PM. No reopening date had been announced when we checked.
City of Toronto rules on RV parking and sleeping
- Three hour limit: Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 950 bans parking any vehicle on a street for longer than three hours unless signs say otherwise, so overnight street parking in an RV is not an option.
- No camping in parks: Chapter 608 says no person may dwell, camp or lodge in a city park without a permit, and vehicles may not park in a park between 12:01 AM and 5:30 AM except in designated overnight areas.
- Road closures: in 2026 Church Street was closed from Dundas Street East to Hayden Street and Wellesley Street East from Yonge to Jarvis from Friday morning to Monday morning, and the parade closed parts of Bloor, Yonge, Dundas and Bay on Sunday.
We found no City of Toronto site that allows overnight RV stays downtown. Treat your campground as home base and leave the motorhome there.
Getting to Pride Toronto from your campsite
Pride Toronto asks visitors to avoid driving into the festival area because parking is limited and several major roads close. It suggests parking outside the downtown core and taking the subway. In a motorhome, the simplest version is to leave the RV at the campground.
- From Indian Line by transit: Humber College station, the western end of TTC Line 6 Finch West, is about 3.7 km (2.3 miles) by road from the campground, so take a short taxi or rideshare (or cycle). Line 6 runs along Finch Avenue West to Finch West station on Line 1. Ride Line 1 to Wellesley or College for the Village, or to Queen for Nathan Phillips Square.
- Nearest stations to the festival: Pride Toronto names Wellesley, College and Bloor-Yonge on Line 1. You can pay by tapping a credit or debit card, and one fare covers two hours of transfers. Pride Toronto says the TTC often runs late-night subway service during Pride, but check TTC service alerts for 2027.
- Driving distances: Cruise Canada depot in Bolton to Indian Line about 18 km (11 miles, 18 minutes). Indian Line to Church and Wellesley about 35 km (22 miles, 33 minutes without traffic). Toronto Pearson airport to Indian Line about 8 km (5 miles).
- Parade day closures: in 2026 the parade assembled from 8 AM on Rosedale Valley Road, and Bloor Street West from Bay to Ted Rogers Way, Yonge Street from Church to Queen, Dundas Street West and part of Bay Street closed from noon until about 8 PM. Expect a similar pattern on Sunday 27 June 2027 and check the official 2027 festival map for routes and closures.
Drive times are free-flow estimates from OSRM. Compare pick-ups on our Toronto page and read Pride Toronto's Know Before You Go guide.
A 9 day Pride Toronto and Ontario road trip
This plan matches our live search: pick up Tuesday 22 June, return Wednesday 30 June 2027. Festival weekend timing is based on 2026 (Thursday to Sunday), so adjust once Pride Toronto publishes the 2027 schedule. Check each campground's 2027 season and book early.
Day 1 (Tue 22 June): Pick up and drive to Niagara Falls
Collect your motorhome in Bolton and drive about 143 km (89 miles, around 1 hour 50 minutes) to Niagara Falls KOA Holiday on Lundy's Lane, which has full hookup RV sites and an outdoor pool.
Day 2 (Wed 23 June): Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake
Leave the RV at camp and use the WEGO buses to the Falls and the Niagara-on-the-Lake shuttle. Niagara Parks says there is no overnight parking in any of its lots.
Day 3 (Thu 24 June): Into Toronto
Drive about 129 km (80 miles, around 1 hour 40 minutes) to Indian Line Campground, hook up and take transit downtown for the start of the festival weekend.
Days 4 to 6 (Fri 25 to Sun 27 June): Pride weekend
Spend Friday and Saturday at the StreetFair on Church Street and the stages, catch the Trans March and Dyke March, then watch the Pride Parade on Sunday 27 June. Keep the motorhome parked at Indian Line all weekend.
Day 7 (Mon 28 June): North to Muskoka
Drive about 154 km (96 miles, around 2 hours) up Highway 400 to Six Mile Lake Provincial Park near Port Severn, with electrical and non-electrical campsites, three sandy beaches and a trailer sanitation station.
Day 8 (Tue 29 June): Muskoka lakes
Drive about 62 km (39 miles, an hour) to Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst, home of Muskoka Steamships, for a lake cruise, then return to Six Mile Lake for the night.
Day 9 (Wed 30 June): Return
Empty the tanks at the park's sanitation station and drive about 139 km (86 miles, around 1 hour 50 minutes) to Bolton to return between 9 AM and 11 AM.
Add Prince Edward County
With 3 more nights, head east instead of north after Pride: Sandbanks Provincial Park is about 231 km (143 miles, around 3 hours) from Indian Line, with 338 electrical sites, 101 RV pull-through sites and three sandy beaches. Canada Day on Thursday 1 July is a holiday, when rental centres are closed and parks are busy.
Tips for Pride Toronto in an RV
- Book the campsite first. Indian Line is the closest RV campground to downtown and Glen Rouge is closed, so reserve a hydro site as soon as TRCA opens 2027 bookings, then book your motorhome.
- Leave the RV at camp. Toronto streets have a three hour parking limit, city parks ban overnight parking and camping, and Pride closes major roads. Use Line 6 and Line 1 instead.
- Plan around Sundays and Canada Day. Cruise Canada centres are closed on Sundays and holidays, so you cannot pick up or return on parade day or on 1 July.
- Pack for a hot day outdoors. Pride Toronto runs free water refill stations, so bring a reusable bottle, and it reminds visitors that outside alcohol is not allowed at the festival.
- Check the 2027 map in June. Pride Toronto says routes and the festival footprint can change, and it publishes the official map, road closures and routes during Pride Month.
- Watch the kilometres. Cruise America charges 39 cents per kilometre beyond the prepaid estimate and refunds unused kilometres, so a city stay plus a short loop keeps costs down.
