The 75th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring runs Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 March 2027 at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida, with the 12 hour race on Saturday 20 March. Sebring camping is part of the tradition: tent camping is included with a race ticket, a general admission RV pass is US$150 on the 2027 parking page, and reserved trackside RV spaces go to renewing holders and then a waitlist. In our live search for 15 to 22 March 2027, Cruise America motorhomes from Orlando started at US$58.20 a night. Pick up at the Kissimmee depot, about 85 miles (137 km) from the track, and camp in the infield.

Which rental brands suit the 12 Hours of Sebring?

Only Cruise America returned vehicles in our live searches from Orlando and Miami for 15 to 22 March 2027. Its Class C motorhomes have a toilet, shower and fridge, which matters at Sebring because the general RV areas have no hookups.

  • Cruise America Compact 21 ft: sleeps 4 and seats 4. The easiest size to fit into a busy infield.
  • Cruise America Standard 25 ft: sleeps 5 and seats 5.
  • Cruise America Large 30 ft: sleeps 7 and seats 7, a good pick for a group sharing one RV pass.
  • Orlando depot: Cruise America is at 2915 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, about 14 miles (22 km) from Orlando International Airport. Between October and early April it opens Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm, and it is closed on Sundays and holidays, so plan a weekday pickup and return. Departures are usually 1pm to 4pm and returns 9am to 11am.

Cruise America does not publish a Sebring or race camping rule that we could find, and its FAQ bans driving on unpaved back roads, so tell the depot you plan to camp on grass at the raceway and get its answer in writing. Prefer to start further south? Compare Miami RV hire, or start with Orlando RV hire.

What does a Sebring 12 Hours RV rental cost?

Rates in US$ from our live Orlando search on 19 October 2026, for a hire picking up Monday 15 March and returning Monday 22 March 2027 (7 nights). These are the discounted per-night rates shown at the time of the search.

  • Cruise America Compact 21 ft (sleeps 4): US$58.20 a night, US$471.88 total.
  • Cruise America Standard 25 ft (sleeps 5): US$64.69 a night, US$517.26 total.
  • Cruise America Large 30 ft (sleeps 7): US$64.69 a night, US$517.26 total.
  • Miami, same dates: all three Cruise America sizes were US$77.32 a night (US$605.41 total).

These totals leave out several costs:

  • Mileage: Cruise America charges 39 cents a mile and collects an estimate of 100 miles a night up front, refunding any excess. Its Half Price Mileage Deal (code FRDM) brings this down to 19 cents a mile for departures through 31 October 2027, but not on one-way hires. The return drive from Kissimmee is about 170 miles (274 km) before side trips.
  • Generator: US$3.50 an hour, worth budgeting for because general RV camping at Sebring has no power.
  • Kits: a Personal Kit is US$75 per person and a Vehicle Provisioning Kit US$125 per vehicle.
  • Race tickets: the four-day Wednesday to Saturday general admission ticket was US$140 on the 2027 ticket page. Children 12 and under get general admission free with a paying adult.
  • RV pass: the GA RV parking pass was US$150 for the 2027 event. Parking passes do not include admission, so everyone over 12 still needs a ticket.

Where can you camp in an RV at the 12 Hours of Sebring?

Inside the track. Camping is part of Sebring folklore, and the raceway calls Green Park a stop you have to make for its parties, campsites and fans. Every vehicle, RVs included, needs a parking pass to enter the gates, and passes do not include admission. See the official FAQ and track map.

General (unreserved) RV camping

  • GA RV pass: US$150 for the 2027 race week (17 to 20 March) on the official parking page. GA Car and Loop passes were US$85, and a Hendricks Field Non-Trackside pass US$210.
  • Where: a general pass lets you drive to all areas of the Midway and Green Park and park where you see fit, first come, first served, in colour-coded sections on the track map. The Paddock needs a special pass. The raceway's Green Park guide highlights the Hairpin, Turn 10 and its unique campsites.
  • Tents: tent camping is included in the ticket price, with no charge to bring a tent.
  • Hookups: the FAQ lists power and water only in two reserved areas, so arrive with full water, empty tanks and fuel for the generator.
  • Space rules: the raceway can make campers consolidate to fit others in, and early arrivals cannot rope off space for friends who arrive later.
  • Towing and carts: anything you tow needs its own pass, and golf carts need a US$150 entry pass from the Gate 3 ticket window.

Reserved trackside RV spaces

Sebring sells reserved RV spaces at the Start / Finish Line, Crosley Valley, Flightline, Hendricks Field, East Paddock and Midway. Current holders get first right of refusal each year, and spaces not renewed when the renewal period ends in September go to the reserved RV waitlist. Crosley Valley and Flightline have power, water and CCTV hookups. The raceway says these spaces are often difficult to secure for the first time, and reserved prices are not published.

Camp rules and facilities

  • Showers in Green Park, on the Midway and in the Paddock.
  • Charcoal and gas grills are allowed, wood fires are not.
  • No pets at the track.
  • Viewing platforms up to 6 ft (1.8 m) high, and no scissor lifts or other mechanical lifts.
  • You can bring your own food and drinks, and the Beverage Barn on the Midway sells beer by the case.

Outside the gates and nearby RV parks

  • Outside camping lot: on Carroll Shelby Road at Madrid, near Gate 4, with 50 by 50 ft spaces for US$50. The free car park near Gate 5 does not allow camping.
  • Sun Retreats Lake Josephine: 10809 US Highway 27 South, Sebring, about 7 miles (11 km) from the raceway, with more than 175 shaded full-hookup sites. RV check-in is 2pm and stays under 30 nights need a deposit of two nights or half the stay. Ask about race week rates and minimum stays.
  • Highlands Hammock State Park: Florida State Parks says only its Youth Camp has been open for camping since 3 April 2026, so do not plan to stay there. It is still a good day trip at US$6 per vehicle.

Hotels are no easier: the raceway says rooms within 60 miles (97 km) of Sebring are usually booked far in advance.

How do you get to Sebring from Orlando?

The raceway's GPS address is 113 Midway Drive, Sebring, Florida 33870. From Cruise America's Kissimmee depot it is about 85 miles (137 km), roughly 2 hours by car, mostly south on US 27. Allow longer in a motorhome and on race week.

  • Tolls: the quickest route uses a short toll stretch of SR 417 near Kissimmee. Cruise America's Orlando page says many Florida highways have tolls and suggests a SunPass, so ask the depot how tolls are billed.
  • From Miami: about 162 miles (260 km), roughly 3 hours 25 minutes, via I-595 and US 27 past Lake Okeechobee.
  • Airports: the raceway lists Orlando International at 79 miles (127 km), Sarasota-Bradenton 81 miles (130 km), Tampa 94 miles (151 km), Palm Beach 98 miles (158 km) and Miami 137 miles (220 km).
  • Entry: tickets are digital only and every vehicle needs a pass. Two-day ticket holders can enter after 8pm on Thursday, and your wristband gets you back in if you leave.
  • On site: three tram lines run from Tram Central Station to the Midway and the Paddock, and two pedestrian bridges cross into the Paddock.

8 day Sebring 12 Hours RV trip from Orlando

Dates assume a hire from Monday 15 to Monday 22 March 2027, which avoids Cruise America's Sunday closure. Drive times are mapping estimates for a car. Check the official site for when the gates open to campers.

Collect your motorhome in Kissimmee in the afternoon, stock up on food, water and ice, and spend the night at an RV park near Orlando.

Day 2: Tuesday 16 March, south to Sebring

Sebring 12 Hours RV tips

  • Buy the ticket and the RV pass separately. The GA RV pass does not include admission, and everyone over 12 needs a ticket.
  • Arrive self-sufficient. General areas have no hookups, so fill the water tank, empty the waste tanks and budget for generator hours.
  • Book a weekday pickup. Cruise America's Kissimmee centre is closed on Sundays and holidays, and it does not run airport transfers.
  • Join the reserved RV waitlist early. Unrenewed spaces are released after the renewal period ends in September.
  • Pack for any weather. The raceway says March can be hot and tropical or damp and cool, and racing goes ahead rain or shine. Text Sebring12 to 888777 for weather alerts.
  • Leave pets at home. Pets are not allowed at the track, even if your rental allows them.
