About Cruisin Motorhomes
Cruisin Motorhomes is a family-owned Tasmanian company that started near Hobart in 1999 as Cruisin' Tasmania Motorhomes. It took its current name when it opened its first mainland branch in Brisbane in 2012, and now rents from six branches: Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns and Perth. It is not part of thl or any listed group, and the same company runs the budget brand GoCheap Campervans.
Cruisin's fleet of more than 700 vehicles runs from 2-berth vans built by Cruisin in Hobart to 4 and 6 berth Fiat Ducato motorhomes built by Avida. Every vehicle is an automatic diesel, the main range is new to 4 years old, and every model except the 2 Berth Hi Top has a shower and toilet. Every hire includes unlimited kilometres.
Is Cruisin Motorhomes a good choice?
Cruisin suits couples and families who want a newer motorhome with a bathroom, especially for a Tasmania trip, since its head office branch sits near Hobart Airport. Its Google branch ratings average 4.6 out of 5 across more than 4,200 reviews. The trade-offs are no pets, drivers aged 21 to 79 only and branches closed on Sundays, so compare Apollo or Britz if you travel with a dog.
