EDC Las Vegas 2027 runs over two weekends, EDC Dusk on 14 to 16 May and EDC Dawn on 21 to 23 May, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Camp EDC lets you drive your own Class A, B or C RV (19 to 45 ft) onto a site with a Bring Your Own RV pass from US$796.45 per RV for four nights. In our live search on 19 October 2026 for 11 to 18 May 2027, Las Vegas pick-ups started from US$121.11 a night for a Cruise America motorhome and US$51.19 a day for a Travellers Autobarn minivan. Pick up in Las Vegas, about 16 to 19 miles (25 to 31 km) from the Speedway, and if your van does not meet the Camp EDC rules, stay at a Las Vegas RV park and ride the official EDC Shuttle.
Which rental brands suit EDC Las Vegas?
Two brands returned vans in our live Las Vegas search for 11 to 18 May 2027: Cruise America and Travellers Autobarn. Camp EDC only admits Class A, B or C RVs from 19 to 45 ft with a working air conditioner powered by an on-board generator, so the vehicle you choose decides whether you can camp on site.
- Cruise America (motorhomes, the Camp EDC pick): Class C motorhomes with a toilet, shower and fridge, shown as the Compact 21 ft (sleeps 4), Standard 25 ft (sleeps 5) and Large 30 ft (sleeps 7). Cruise America's Las Vegas page lists a generator on all three and says RVs are permitted at the official Camp EDC with a reservation. Generator usage fees may apply, and Camp EDC limits each site to the RV's sleeping capacity, up to 8 people.
- Travellers Autobarn (campervans and minivans): Minivan, Hitop, Kuga, Chubby, Beeva and Hi5 models sleeping 2 to 4. Autobarn does not list a generator or engine-off air conditioning on these vans, and the Minivan is a Dodge Grand Caravan, so they do not appear to meet the Camp EDC RV rules. Camp EDC also warns against sleeping in cars or vans because of the heat. An Autobarn van suits a Las Vegas RV park stay with the official shuttle to the gates.
- Drive it in yourself: Camp EDC does not rent or preset RVs, and RVs may not be dropped off, picked up or set up by a third party, so delivered rentals are out. Every camper must arrive in the RV.
Las Vegas is the closest pick-up. Compare Las Vegas RV hire, or start further away with Los Angeles RV hire.
What does EDC Las Vegas RV and campervan hire cost?
Standard rates in US$ from our live search on 19 October 2026 for a Las Vegas hire picking up Tuesday 11 May and returning Tuesday 18 May 2027 (7 nights), which covers EDC Dusk. Cruise America quotes per night and Travellers Autobarn per rental day.
- Cruise America motorhomes: Standard 25 ft US$121.11 a night (US$912.76 total), Compact 21 ft US$125.63 (US$944.41 total) and Large 30 ft US$237.26 (US$1,725.80 total).
- Travellers Autobarn Minivan: US$51.19 a day (US$409.53 total), sleeps 4.
- Travellers Autobarn campervans: Hitop US$75.42, Kuga US$85.34, Chubby US$88.17, Beeva US$96.15 and Hi5 US$117.09 a day (US$603.37 to US$936.68 total).
- EDC Dawn, 18 to 25 May 2027: Cruise America from US$130.30 a night (21 ft and 25 ft) to US$267.20 (30 ft), and Autobarn from US$53.82 to US$138.79 a day.
- From Los Angeles, 11 to 18 May 2027: Cruise America US$124.40 to US$135.69 a night and Autobarn US$53.30 to US$120.25 a day, before a drive of about 291 miles (468 km).
These rates leave out:
- Camp EDC: Bring Your Own RV is US$796.45 per RV for four nights, or US$1,592.90 with the power add-on, before taxes (a US$30 deposit option was listed). An extra vehicle pass is US$137.16.
- Festival passes: 3-day GA passes were US$479.99 for EDC Dusk, US$529.99 for EDC Dawn and US$859.99 for both weekends, before taxes.
- Cruise America mileage and generator fees, kits, insurance excess, one-way fees and extras, which vary by brand, so compare live totals for your dates.
- Fuel: Camp EDC requires a full tank on arrival and offers no refuelling on site.
Can you camp in an RV at EDC Las Vegas?
Yes. Camp EDC RV Camping lets you drive your own RV onto a site at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. One Camp EDC pass covers one RV and up to 8 people (never more than the RV's legal capacity), but every camper also needs an EDC Las Vegas festival pass and must be 18 or over. Camp EDC passes cover the nights of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and single nights are not sold.
Camp EDC RV passes for 2027
- Dusk, 4 nights: Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 May, US$796.45 (US$749.99 plus US$46.46 fees) or US$1,592.90 with power, before taxes.
- Dawn, 4 nights: Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 May, US$796.45 without power. The power add-on showed as sold out on 19 October 2026.
- Dusk Till Dawn, 11 nights: Thursday 13 to Sunday 23 May with power required, US$3,008.83. Sold out when we checked.
- Extra vehicle: US$137.16 for Dusk or Dawn. Extra cars park in the Turquoise Lot, not at your site.
Camp EDC RV rules
- Vehicle: Class A, B or C from 19 to 45 ft, including any tow vehicle. Truck campers and fifth wheels need their own generator (or the power add-on) and an air conditioner that runs with the vehicle off.
- Air conditioning and fuel: a working air conditioner powered by an on-board generator, never the engine. Arrive with a full tank, because there is no refuelling, and personal fuel cans and gas generators are banned.
- Power: the 30 or 50 amp add-on must be ordered at checkout, and you bring a power cable at least 75 ft long with the right connector. Trip the breaker twice and you are disconnected without a refund.
- Water and waste: water refills and pump-outs cost extra at the RV Services Booth in the Mesa and the Camp Host Chill Zones. Porta-potties, free showers and drinking water refills are included.
- No moving: once parked, RVs stay put until 8am Monday 17 May (Dusk) or 8am Monday 24 May (Dawn and Dusk Till Dawn), unless you leave for good with a staff escort.
- Cooking: small propane grills or stoves with tanks up to 4 lb per group are fine, and so is the RV's built-in propane. No campfires or butane.
- Festival access: a campers-only entrance with in and out privileges during festival hours, while regular festival tickets allow no re-entry.
Check-in times for 2027 were still marked more info coming soon on the Camp EDC Entry page in October 2026, and the full rules are on the Camp EDC Guidelines page.
RV parks near Las Vegas Motor Speedway
- Las Vegas KOA Journey at Sam's Town, 5225 Boulder Hwy: 40 ft and 70 ft pull-through full-hookup sites and 50 amp pull-throughs, about 13 miles (22 km) from the Speedway.
- Clark County Shooting Complex RV Park, North Decatur Blvd: 80 pull-through sites, 22 by 120 ft, with 30 and 50 amp full hookups, up to 4 occupants per RV and full payment when you book, about 19 miles (30 km) by road.
- Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, 2711 W Windmill Lane: a resort south of the Strip with pools, a putting course, a cafe and a store, about 22 miles (35 km) away.
Rates were not published on these pages, so ask about festival-week prices and minimum stays. Sleeping in vehicles is banned in the festival car parks, so off-site RVs stay at the park and you travel in by shuttle, taxi or rideshare.
How do you get to EDC Las Vegas from Las Vegas?
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is at 7000 N Las Vegas Blvd, north-east of the city. The Travellers Autobarn depot at 3050 W Sirius Ave is about 15.8 miles (25 km) away and the Cruise America depot at 551 N Gibson Rd, Henderson about 19.4 miles (31 km), roughly 30 to 35 minutes by car outside festival traffic. From Los Angeles it is about 291 miles (468 km), around 5 hours 35 minutes, via I-10 east and I-15 north.
- Route: EDC says not to use Google or Waze. Take I-15 north to Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd) and follow the signs and traffic officers. Coming from the north on I-15, exits 54 and 58 are closed, so drive past to Exit 50 (Lamb Blvd) and rejoin I-15 northbound.
- Fuel first: Camp EDC needs a full tank on arrival. EDC points to a gas station just off N Hollywood Blvd near the venue.
- Parking: General Parking in the Brown and Green Lots is free and opens at 3pm Friday and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Vehicles must leave each night and sleeping in vehicles is banned. The parking page does not mention RVs, so do not plan on day-parking a motorhome.
- Official EDC Shuttles: the only buses with direct gate access. Standard stops are World Market Center, The Rio, The Strat and Mid-Strip, departing 6:30pm to 11pm with returns from 2am. Each pass is tied to one stop and is non-refundable.
- Rideshare and taxis: drop-offs and pick-ups only at the Mid-Brown Lot via the E Tropical Parkway exit off I-15, and EDC warns of long waits and dynamic pricing.

8 day EDC Las Vegas RV trip
This plan covers EDC Dusk (Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May 2027) with a Cruise America motorhome hired from Tuesday 11 to Tuesday 18 May, matching our live search. Las Vegas depots close on Sundays, so plan a weekday return. Drive times are mapping estimates for a car.
Day 1: Tuesday 11 May, pick up in Las Vegas
Collect the RV, check the generator and air conditioner work, and buy a 75 ft power cable with the right connector if you booked the Camp EDC power add-on. Stock up on food and water and stay at a Las Vegas RV park such as the KOA at Sam's Town.
Day 2: Wednesday 12 May, Valley of Fire
Drive about 60 miles (96 km) north-east to Valley of Fire State Park. Its campgrounds have some RV sites with power and water at US$25 a night for non-Nevada vehicles plus US$10 for hookups, and all sites are reserved in advance.
Day 3: Thursday 13 May, check in at Camp EDC
Fill the fuel and fresh water tanks, then drive about 42 miles (67 km) to the Speedway. Check the Camp EDC Entry page for 2027 check-in times, set up and explore the Mesa.
Days 4 to 6: Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May, EDC Dusk
The grounds open 7pm to 5:30am each night, with the opening ceremony at Cosmic Meadow from 5pm on Friday. Use the campers-only entrance, rest in the air conditioning by day and buy pump-outs or water at the RV Services Booth if you need them.
Day 7: Monday 17 May, pack up
RVs can move from 8am. Head back to a Las Vegas RV park, dump the tanks, wash off the dust and rest.
Day 8: Tuesday 18 May, return
Refuel, clean the interior and return the RV within the depot's return hours.
For EDC Dawn, shift every date a week later to a Tuesday 18 to Tuesday 25 May hire. For Dusk Till Dawn, hire from Tuesday 11 to Tuesday 25 May.
EDC Las Vegas RV tips
- Book the Camp EDC pass first. Dusk Till Dawn and the Dawn power add-on were sold out by 19 October 2026, so lock in your pass before the RV.
- Check the vehicle fits the rules. Camp EDC wants a Class A, B or C RV from 19 to 45 ft with generator-powered air conditioning. Cruise America motorhomes fit, while Autobarn campervans do not appear to.
- Bring a 75 ft power cable. Camp EDC requires one with a 30 or 50 amp connector if you buy power, and rental RVs may not carry one that long, so ask your brand.
- Count heads against beds. Each site is limited to the RV's sleeping capacity and a maximum of 8, so a 25 ft Standard sleeps 5 and a 30 ft Large sleeps 7.
- Arrive full and stay put. There is no refuelling on site, fuel cans are banned, and RVs cannot move until 8am Monday.
- Tell the rental brand. Get festival use, generator fees and the return date confirmed in writing before you pay.

How far is EDC from the Las Vegas Strip?
About 17 miles (28 km) and 30 minutes by car from Mid-Strip via I-15 north to Exit 54, much longer in festival traffic. Official EDC Shuttles run from stops such as The Strat and Mid-Strip, with direct gate access.
